This ad won our agency the Kawasaki account against several other agencies. It was done for relaunching Kawasaki in Spain after a decade of decline – and did it brilliantly. The ad ran through all the newspapers and magazines in the country, relying on a visual pun that could only be understood in Spain. As weird as this may sound, we call a fast, powerful motorbike a pepino i.e. a cucumber. I came up with the idea and art directed it, assisting at the photo session.
